Use a knife or sandpaper to scrape off a fine powder from the stick. Then, grab a brush and paint with the powder - no water needed!
Pro Tip: Work diagonally from the top left of the surface and towards the right bottom to avoid any unwanted smudging. For left-handed artists, start from the top right to the left bottom.
