Mahanati
Description: I drew this portrait of Mahanati Savithri, I'd say it's a piece that really speaks from the heart. I wanted to capture more than just her likeness—I aimed to bring out the elegance and soulful depth in her eyes that made her such a legend. It's a tribute to her timel
Materials used: Charcoals, Graphite
Surface: Paper
Technique used: I used a few techniques to bring this portrait of Mahanati Savithri to life. The main thing was using a wide range of monochromatic shading to make it feel classic and give it depth. I also paid close attention to the small details, like the designs on her jewelry and the texture of her sari, which made a huge difference. Lastly, I played with light and shadow to make her face look realistic and really draw attention to her beautiful, expressive eyes.
