The dry spell the state has been facing has affected various different areas including Marathwada and Vidharbha. Keeping this in mind, Camlin came up with the ‘Draws for Drought’ initiative to help bring a little relief to the affected area. The objective is to raise money for the drought-affected areas by auctioning the works of our artists; the proceeds of which will then be given to the ‘Vandana Foundation’, an NGO working in the Vidarbha region to make the drought affected people, especially widows, self-reliant. The professional artists who participated in this event created masterpieces using only dry mediums such as pastels, pencils, charcoal and graphite, as well as conventional mediums like Water and Acrylic colours. thereby reiterating the need to conserve water.
