Fairy-tales have been a part of our life since childhood. These stories help us wander into the imaginary forests of the ‘fairy folk’ and wonder about the mysteries that surround these magical creatures! A painting of fairies and flowers makes for a beautiful picture!
Here is an art project of fairy painting that will take you back to those childhood memories.
What you will need:
• Palette
• Camlin Brushes
• Hobby Knife
• Fairy statue
• Artists’ Acrylic Colour 12 Assorted Colours Set
• Camel Ink
• Acrylic Spray
• A clean cloth
• Primer
Step 1: Clean start
Start working on your fairy by cleaning the statue with a clean cloth.

Step 2: Filing
If the cloth has not cleaned the statue sufficiently, then you can clean it up with a hobby knife. Look out for molding defects.
Step 3: Priming
Using a primer, apply a coat all over the statue to ensure durability of the applied paint.
Step 4: Painting the wings
Tune in to your imagination or search for a fairy image online, for colouring options. Finalize the acrylic colours to paint your fairy to life. If you want to blend, be quick to paint over the colours you applied earlier.

Step 5: Get the details right
Make sure to use a fine brush to get the details like eyes, hair, leaves, grass, roses and hands right. You can also use the same brush to paint designs on the wings.

Once the paint dries, your statue is ready to be displayed!
Now you know that canvases are not the only thing you can use your acrylic colours to paint on! Camlin Artists’ Acrylic Colour 12 Assorted Colours Set provides with 12 vibrant shades that bring any art to life!
